I was only six months old when my family moved to Mexico City. We lived there for two years. After that we moved to Argentina - Buenos Aires. When I was a little over four, we moved back to Naples. Later on I attended a linguistic college in the historic city of Pompeii. From there my brother Roberto and my friends from Pompeii often used to visit Sorrento. We went there by train, and the trip was only around 30 minutes. Sometimes a trip that short felt way longer and i gave up control to my whirling thoughts. The history of Pompeii and the romance of the small alley ways in Sorrento have been a huge inspiration to me, since all my childhood memories are from there. The first Sorrento restaurant was founded in 2013 and that is the place where I wanted to plant all those wonderful memories; the gardens of Sorrento that were taken over by the lemons and the aromas of the ragu-sauce made by the grandmothers in the air. Of all the places I've ever been to, Sorrento is the place where I’ve felt most at home, and it is the place where I would go back any time, again and again.
